NIHR Conducts a Field Visit to Salmaniya Medical Complex
The Detention & Facilities Visitation Committee of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) conducted a field visit to a number of facilities at Salmaniya Medical Complex. The visit included the Emergency Department (Adult and Pediatric), Outpatient Clinics, and the Laboratory Department, with the aim of reviewing the healthcare services provided and verifying their compliance with relevant international standards.
During the visit, the delegation listened to the views of a number of patients regarding the services provided to them, and their observations were documented in preparation for formulating appropriate recommendations and submitting them to the competent authorities.
